We’re looking for a General Manager to join our team! You will look after our North Edmonton facility (Londonderry Mall) and a team of 10+ part time staff

About Our Company

We’re an entertainment based facility with a small (but growing!) chain of centers in Alberta. With one (now two!) location in Edmonton and two in Calgary.

Our customers come to us for special occasions (Birthday Parties, Corporate Events, Youth Group Events) as well as for some casual fun. The majority are aged 6 to 12, but we also host many teens and adults.

About The Role
The General Manager plays a key role in delivering outstanding experiences for our guests—ensuring we have the right team in place, with the right skills and tools, at the right time.

You’ll work closely with the senior leadership team and play an integral role in day-to-day operations. Unlike traditional retail or hospitality positions, this role is focused on cultivating a fantastic team environment, enhancing customer satisfaction, and maintaining a well-organized, safe, and welcoming space.

And most importantly—you should love working with kids, as they’re our biggest fans!

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build and maintain an outstanding team by overseeing hiring, interviewing, and onboarding processes.

  • Foster a positive workplace culture through training, coaching, and team-building events.

  • Manage scheduling, including shift assignments, time-off requests, and last-minute coverage.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.

  • Participate in routine meetings as part of the leadership team.

  • Maintain accurate records and update performance metrics (NPS, KPIs, etc.).

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure smooth operations.

Customer Experience & Service

  • Handle select customer inquiries via phone and email, providing friendly and efficient support.

  • Address and resolve any customer concerns to maintain high satisfaction levels.

  • Ensure the team is delivering exceptional customer service at all times.

Facility Management

  • Oversee the facility’s upkeep, ensuring it remains safe, stocked, and welcoming for guests.

  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards.

  • Perform basic facility maintenance tasks as needed.


Job requirements

  • The schedule includes weekend work, with flexibility for evening shifts or special bookings.

  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule efficiently.

  • A reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license are required.

  • 5+ years of experience in retail management or a comparable leadership role.

  • Experience in scheduling and managing a team of 10+ employees.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Positive, energetic, and team-oriented mindset.
